My perspective on ASLAN...

My goal on ASLAN is focus the unity based on the form of communication instead of the unity based on the form of disability.

I am curious, I never heard of ASLAN that word before..I wonder ASLAN is new meaning, ASLAN based from George Vertiz's words or Whose from? I learn something that i would like to know about ASLAN. (sound interested)!

deb ann and coach creech: Thank you for your comments. :)

mochame: The concept is old, Lou Fant did invent Ameslan in 1970's, but it hasn't been used by deaf community. I created a new term "Amerisilan" and the abbreviate word for it is "ASLAN." My solo goal is new comfort zone and common cause. You may find its definition from www.amerisilan.info. :)

Indeed, I'll go where the signing is. I sign, therefore, I ASL. Promoting d/D/HoH seems to be unproductive and forever tied to personal levels of auditory-speech.
