Anonymous backfired...

I agree with you, there is nothing that prohibits a blogger from deleting anonymous. You own your blog, you can do what you want with the comments.

I have found that blogs that allow anonymous have the most diverse response which makes it even more interesting to see all views.

However, I believe there are two types of anonymous - one that degrades and bashes others. Second group - who are respectiful with a different view. I encourage you to use your judgement to keep the ones that does not put others down but share informative views.

I also know some bloggers delete comments from people who who are NOT anyonymous and who did NOT put or bash but stated a different opinion or fact. wow, that is a bad judgement. but, bloggers own their blogs and they can do whatever they want!

In your case, you have set up your blog that forces commenters to have a google account which means you would not have a problem with anonymous.

I just want to let you know that your last two paragraph is demeaning. It didn't affect my opinion on my blog or hurt my feeling. However, the comment that you have made is one of form in language which hurt some bloggers. I hope you and other people understand that demeaning isn't nice way to use in comments.

"Forces commenters to have a google account" sound like negative and I didn't mean that way. I encourage people to sign up google account which cost nothing, but able to build a better community.

Thank you for sharing your opinion and I want you able to understand that everyone have choice to be what they want to be without any demeaning message. That is America's way. :)

I'm sorry if you thought it was demeaning, it wasn't my intent. I was talking about other blogs in the fourth paragraph.

peace out

Aloha! I am the owner of Kalalau's Korner and ASL Storytelling Theatre blogs, and I believe I have the right to accept and publish comments whether or not they are from anonymous or fake names. That's why these bloggers (blogspot and wordpress) give me this type of power.

The First Amendment clearly state that people could sue others for libel, slander and maim.

I somewhat have real problems with anoyomous and psydeoum online alias commenters who intentionally smear or defile someone's reputation with all falsehood or distortion.

Anyone who shoot someone in the back is definitely a coward hirself. Everyone know! Same thing with anoyomous and psydeoum online alias falsely smear me about being a .............. which surely upset me in many ways. How can I defend myself with someone who hide behind pysedoeum online alias or anyomonous alias.

I already found out who purposefully smear me on someone's blog. I definitely have the legal right to sue the blogger for letting the comment remain on hir blog while he was much willing to delete other smear comments. I printed one blogger almost everyday to show his own pattern of being hyprocrisy.

I will sue the particular blogger along with their adverstisers if he do it again. I meant it!

Many hearing people do have same problem with nasty comments or falsehood which they often could not get jobs because of anynomous comments. I read one article about an individual who could not get any date because of false rumor about him having herpes somewhere in the blogsphere forum.

I really do not mind if someone tell truth about me. I usually do not give any f**k what other people think about me, but too many people are too dumb to believe anything said on the blog. :(

I did tolerate anynomous comments on my blogs as they do not demean or falsely defile someone's reputation without any kind of proofs.

I think the word itself is self-explanatory - "anonymous" meaning no name or identity thus giving up any rights on any printed materials. Anonymous commentors don't have any voice or any rights. To have rights, you have to have an identity, a name. So, delete away.
