I always enjoy your vlogs and your style of hands moving in ASL reminds me of my school classmate. He lives in Utah.

Keep up vlogging! ;)

Excellent arguement!!! You must understand that there are too many mainstream schools and even school for the Deaf, include the number of Deaf educators who still resist ASL for many Deaf children who need to learn more accurate in ASl in classroom, unfortunately there is no requirement compare to English class that are required for all Deaf Children and what is more under the IDEA - communication options that already diminish ASL instead of choosing other than just sign language that really hurt Deaf children in long run unless Deaf Associaion ought to do something about that problem with communication options and no law or requirement for any Deaf children to access ASL as a language access! I am glad you brought up the serious issue about that!!!

Hey,
Good thought! I'm going to make a vlog to expand your proposal for ASL coaches (I like AnneMarie's term for it...).

Excellent!! You may have created jobs out of it for asl modifiers! But... how do we qualify for the job? what are the criteria in order to be asl modifiers?

Paul or barberclown, I am sure you prefer me to call you barberclown? :)

No problem and its not deficit thinking. I did suggest ASL modifiers as entertainment and get pay based on quality of ASL user. Anne Marie has suggest a better word as pay service for one on one, mentor or private trainer and the term is ASL coaching. ASL coaching and ASL instruction will need a proof of ASLTA certification and/or other qualify certification relate to ASL. For ASL modifiers like me is plain entertainment purpose. However, I can get pay for entertainment, too. :)

Sometimes I think myself as an ASL modifier to help others how to sign it right.

Or, I am being icehole? I am not sure. ;)
